| This is another one of those "perfecting the creed" topics that needs to be examined. The question asked here is simply; should we assert that life is pointless, and we're only living it for our own (temporal and pathetic) enjoyment, or should we resolve that there is indeed a way in which a man could live so as to not fuck anything up, or even effect a benefit to something?I don't want to go counterintuitive to the creed with this, but it is a grey area, and we like absolution, not grey areas. I propose there are four possibilities.1. Life is so pointless we should probably all kill ourselves2. Life is pointless, but we should get over it and have a little fun anyway3. Life is pointless, but if we work for it, we can achieve something by it4. Life is almost, but not quite entirely, pointless Whichever it is, it will be added to the creed when we decide. |

| I propose, while life may be pointless, that the proverbial afterlife is something worth working for. |

| Well, I'm going to count that as a vote for option 4. Tis an idea which I personally can stand behind, but in a community that strives to avoid religious bias, that concept cannot become creed. _________________ If you'd like to make a call, please hang up and try again.
