Regarding Free Will

I'm starting this debate based on a private conversation I had with Skittles, in which we argued briefly over whether or not the following should be added to the creed:

We claim that man would be better off if he had no free will, and was akin to the animals, because all that free will has ever done is allowed us to kill each other and ruin our lives.

I personally argue against this ammendment, and I'll briefly explain why.

The theory of Reductionalism asserts that if we break anything down to it's smallest components, we will find one single smallest piece; the Greek's atom.

String theory is an example of this; it proclaims that little vibrating bits of pure energy, which we label "strings", make up everything in the universe.

We're ...

The Meaning of Life; an Oxymoron?

This is another one of those "perfecting the creed" topics that needs to be examined. The question asked here is simply; should we assert that life is pointless, and we're only living it for our own (temporal and pathetic) enjoyment, or should we resolve that there is indeed a way in which a man could live so as to not fuck anything up, or even effect a benefit to something?

I don't want to go counterintuitive to the creed with this, but it is a grey area, and we like absolution, ...
